Mosaic of the Holdheimshof in Berlin, Germany

Mosaic of the tympanum at the Holdheimshof – Paul-Lincke-Ufer in Berlin-Kreuzberg

The Holdheimshof built in 1911, Paul-Lincke-Ufer 42-43 and the neighbouring Gewerbehof Paul-Lincke Ufer 41 were designed by master builder and architect Hugo Sonnenthal. The glass mosaic was produced in a typical way of the time, for which the glass mosaic factory Puhl und Wagner in Berlin was pioneering from 1890.
As a condition of the approval under monument law to repair the roof of the front building, an expert opinion was drawn up as the basis for securing the mosaic surfaces in the tympanum. Based on this, the conservation measures were carried out.
